You're invited to our beta test for The Elder Scrolls
Online: Elsweyr on PC/Mac! If you'd like to participate
in the beta, you can find more information and instructions in this
email.
GENERAL INFORMATION
You now have access to The Elder Scrolls Online:
Elsweyr Chapter on the Public Test Server (information
below).
The beta will allow you to experience the entirety
of Elsweyr and Update 22, including:
- The brand new zone, Elsweyr
- The new main story, part of the Season of the Dragon
adventure
- The new class, Necromancer
- The new Delves, Public Dungeons, World Bosses, and Dragon
Attacks
- The new Trial, Sunspire
During the beta, you can expect there to be character wipes and
transfers, and character templates will be made available at some
point after the beta’s launch.

Prior to participating, you must accept the Beta Agreement
available in the PTS game
client. IMPORTANT: Participation in
the beta is subject to the confidentiality provisions of the Beta
Agreement. This agreement is specific to the Elsweyr main quest and
its story, but you are free to stream and talk about anything you
experience in Elsweyr with the exception of the Chapter’s main
story line beyond its first quest (titled “A Rage of Dragons”). You
can share any other side quests you find. The Non-Disclosure
Agreement will be lifted on May 1.
GETTING STARTED
To participate in the beta, you should first ensure that you have
the Public Test Server game client installed by following the
process below:
- Open The Elder Scrolls Online Launcher
- Click the cog icon at top right to open
the Launcher Settings
- Scroll down the Options menu and
click the “Show Public Test
Environment” checkbox
- Click Apply
From your ESO Launcher, click on The Elder Scrolls
Online (PTS), and
click Install to download and install
the beta game client.
If you already have the PTS client installed, you should allow
it to download and install any required updates.
Once complete, select the PTS client and
click Play to get into the game. You
will be able to sign into the game with your regular ESO game
account credentials.
Once in game, you can travel to Elsweyr via Wayshrine or by
selecting the new tutorial from the character creation screen.
PROVIDING FEEDBACK
This beta is a test, and we'd love to hear your feedback about
anything related to Elsweyr and Update 22. To provide feedback,

ESO Official Forum account in order to participate. If you do not
have a forum account, you can find information on getting
one .
If you have any bugs you'd like to report, you can use the
"/bug" command in game to submit it. You can also discuss the bug
on the private forum.
GETTING SUPPORT
If you require support for the beta during the event, you can
visit The Elder Scrolls Online Customer Support
portal to search for and find help content
for your issue. You can also submit a ticket to ESO Customer
Support by logging into the Web Assistant .
